After a night of weird dreams about different kinds of dysfunctional relationships (I guess my subconscious was reinforcing what I don’t want, as if I needed it!), I seem to have found my “groove” again. This is turning into a very productive and satisfying day!
By noon, I had my second load of laundry in the washer, had listened to a motivational webinar, completed two more exercises in my copywriting course and finished the reading for the third and completed my usual morning chores!
I’m feeling energized and positive again, with a warm, delightful feeling of joy permeating my being. I can’t put my finger on anything in particular that changed, so it might just be the wheel making another turn.
My daughter was thrown another curve ball by the Navy today. It seems that they neglected to tell her that “barnyard animals” and reptiles are not allowed in Navy housing. Just when she thought she was going to be able to keep her bunny and her snake, she finds out (about 3 weeks before their move) that she needs to re-home them! You would think that piece of information would have been included in their orientation meeting about moves! But I have to say, she’s also becoming more productive, getting a lot of the packing done in the last few days, and calmer about setbacks. Is it something in the air? Or maybe, NOT in the air?
Another change I’ve noticed is that I spend very little time at our table on dance nights. Suddenly, I’ve become very social, wandering around the club, chatting with different people. Of course, it could be due to the many hours I spend alone now that I don’t go to an office to work, but it feels like there’s more to it. I’m just enjoying people more!
Granted, the dance community is unique in that the majority of the members are very happy, positive people. The dancing, alone, keeps the energy up most of the time, and the drama down, again, most of the time. There is a great deal of hugging and genuine caring among the members which makes for a rather rarefied environment. Maybe we’re kind of a template for the rest of humanity?
So at the end of the day, with two loads of laundry and about 5 hours of studying done, I’m happy to find that I’m back on track. Day 3 of my weekly gym quota is tomorrow followed by more studying and, perhaps, some editing. We’ll see how it goes.
For now, I’m feeling pleasantly tired, filled with love and a quiet joy. It’s been a very good day!
My gratitudes tonight are:
1. I am grateful for very good days.
2. I am grateful to be part of a wonderful, joyful, loving community of people.
3. I am grateful for new adventures and changes of scenery.
4. I am grateful for opportunities which are just waiting for me to turn the corner.
5. I am grateful for abundance in love, friendship, health, joy and prosperity,
Love and Light.
